Full/Part Time Engineer

Hong Kong

The Mechanical Team is responsible for designing, building, and testing all of the load-bearing structures and components.


DESCRIPTION

This position is for those who have already completed the general EVRG training modules in CAD, CAE, and vehicle design, or hold equivalent qualifications, and wish to work as a Full/Part time engineer. Full time engineers are expected to dedicate 8+ hours per week on average, while part time engineers are expected to dedicate 3+ hours per week on average.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work in one of the Mechanical sub-teams under the guidance of the sub-team leader.
  • Design, analyse, test, and manufacture safety-critical and performance-critical parts.
  • Write design reports for parts and assemblies.
  • Host internal seminars as a sub-team to teach the team on various subjects.

This position is for those who have already completed the general EVRG training modules listed below, or hold equivalent qualifications.

Race Driver

Hong Kong

The Formula Student competition requires a minimum of 4, and maximum of 6 designated drivers to represent the team as the driver. Each driver may participate in two of the dynamic events.


REQUIREMENT

Hold a government issued driver’s license in English, or with English translation document. Those with a professional racing license are not eligible.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Train regularly using previous generation EVRG cars
  • Provide detailed driver feedback to the engineering team
  • Test the new car, and train in the new car for the competition
